Sad day for democracy when you have to ask your employer for this.

"According to the union representing Saskatchewan's nurses, they’re scared to speak up."

"Health Minister Dustin Duncan says his office is considering the request." ( a letter of protection assuring nurses that there would be no reprisals)

Is the Saskatchewan Government kidding with that response? I really hope so. Brad Wall should be shaking his head and should put a stop
on the health ministers comments.

Union or not, nurses or ANY other staff should not be afraid to speak up, weather they like or dislike the program. Has that what the Saskatchewan Party has done
to unions and workers in this province?

We do have a constitution in this county called Canada, which guarantee's rights and freedoms of it citizens, which maybe some of you have forgotten. One of
those rights is freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication.

I get tired of hearing 'the front line workers' like this, don't like that ect, ect. The health care system that we more than enjoy in this province and country is not totally
run buy the front line workers, all the workers need to be heard, all of them.

Is the LEAN program working, I have no idea. Having been in the hospital far more than my fair share in the last four years, the way I was treated and cared for was
fantastic and I would hate to see it go down hill just to save 58¢ per person in Saskatchewan.

Stuff costs money... hospital stuff even more. Everyone pays a bit, and we all get the benefits.

I don't understand why this is such a hard concept for some.

Thoughts??

Rant:

So we have a few veterans offices closing. ALL Vet's will have to go to Regina to talk one-on-one. That's a bunch of crap. Really, out of all the money the Gov't of Canada spends, a few offices of Veterans Affairs will help with the balancing the budget. Give me a break. Harper and his 'gang' are idiots, period. I did support them at one time, sorry to say. This is just another "way over the top" Harper.

The Veterans are holding a demonstration at the Salon Batoche Room at the Delta Bessborough Hotel on Friday at 9 a.m. I plan to be there, and, if there's ANYWAY you can, be there.

Will it help, probably not. Will it show support for the guy's and girl's that did and do sacrifice for CANADA, Yes it will. Just a reminder, some of you think that a "Vet" is someone who was is World War One, Two or Korea. Your right, however, we have 'Vets" from Afghanistan as well.

Your friends and family probably know someone who went over, be it 1939, 1953 or 2003 to stand for us, freedom to think and Canada.

NOW is the time to stand for them.

Let's fill that room and the streets!!

Let's let Mr. Harper know that his retirement package is coming and soon, very soon.

The Gov't may screw us with more tax's, fee's and service charges ( they learned it for the cell phone companies ) but to hell with them, if they screw with our Vets!!

See you all in the morning.

Don't forget, every Friday is "Red Shirt Friday" " Remember Everyone Deployed" Until there ALL home. As long as it's red, wear it, for them.
